Our game rules
Welcome to MOOSE MONTHLY POKER TOURNAMENTS! We're excited to have you join our friendly poker community. Our game of choice is Texas Hold'em, and while we largely adhere to standard Texas Hold'em rules, we do have a few minor house rules to ensure smooth, enjoyable gameplay for everyone. Familiarizing yourself with these basics will give you a head start at the tables.
Tournament details & player etiquette
At MOOSE MONTHLY POKER TOURNAMENTS, we're dedicated to fostering a fun, respectful, and engaging environment for all players. From our straightforward buy-ins to our community-focused approach, we want every tournament to be a great experience. Here are some key details and expectations to keep in mind.
What are the buy-in details and how do your tournaments run?
We strive to ensure everyone has a great time together. Our buy-ins are simple: it's a flat $25.00 with no rebuys. This keeps the game fair and fun for all participants, from seasoned players to newcomers.
What kind of behaviour do you expect from players at your tables?
To make sure everyone has a good time and plays fair, we ask that everyone respects each other. On occasion, we have players who are fairly new to the game, and we greatly appreciate our more experienced players being patient and assisting as much as possible. Good sportsmanship is key to our community!
How should a player get clarification on a rule during a game?
If any questions pop up or if you're ever unsure about a rule during a game, please don't hesitate to call for the tournament director to get an answer. We're here to help keep the game flowing smoothly and fairly for all.
